About the job

As an Observing Dispatcher at B-Securité, you are the eyes and ears of the Basic-Fit sports clubs. You can assess live camera images during virtual surveillance rounds from the Monitoring Alarm Receiving Center (MARC) control room in Hoofddorp. You check people and objects where necessary and estimate the risks of escalation of situations and behavior. 

As soon as an incident occurs, for example if one of the athletes in a sports club falls off the treadmill, you report this to the Allround Observant Centralist so that the athlete in question is quickly brought to safety and receives the necessary medical care.

After your shift, you document and report events and circumstances of your own observations under the supervision of the Allround Observant Centralist, so that up-to-date information is available and can possibly be used in a follow-up.

In many cases you are the first to notice an incident, sometimes in situations where you have to act quickly and this means that a mix of thoroughness and crisis resistance is required. Safety, Security & Service activities come together within the MARC. This makes the work varied and dynamic. You are therefore an important part of the way in which customers (athletes) experience Basic Fit.

About B-Securité

At B-Securité you will work in a completely new international MARC (Monitoring & Alarm Receiving Center), modernly designed with the latest equipment. Profile Observing Dispatcher

  • You have obtained a preparatory vocational secondary education diploma (minimum).
  • You master the English language both orally and in writing. Speaking French, Spanish or German is an advantage.
  • Availability of at least 24 hours a week.
  • Day, evening, night and weekend shifts are no problem for you. 
  • You have a service-oriented and customer-friendly attitude. 
  • You know how to stay calm in stressful situations.
  • You can work well in a team and under the direction of a Supervisor.
  • You treat personal belongings and/or confidential information with care. 
  • You want to continue to develop yourself and are open to feedback, training and courses to perform your work even better. 
  • A Declaration on Behavior (VOG) shows that your behavior in the past does not constitute an objection to the performance of this position.

Our promise

  • You start with a one-year contract. If you perform well after two years, you will receive a permanent contract.
  • A starting salary of € 1,866 to € 2,032 gross (depending on experience and previously acquired competences) per 4 weeks based on 38 hours, excluding irregularity and weekend allowances. It is also possible to work 24 hours a week;
